Wish me luck (results are in)

Postby machineman9 » Sun May 23, 2010 8:44 am

In about 23 hours I will be taking my driving test and in 24 hours I will know if I have passed or not. I'm fortunate enough to have one of the quieter times of the day for my test, but it's the weather that I think will be the killer for me - It's too hot! I'm not built for this climate. I can't drink enough water to stay cool and headache free. If I don't make it back, I will probably be found melted to the seat of the car I'll be taking my test in.

Darn this weather!

Best of luck!! I did mine 3 months ago, it's no where near as bad as you think it will be  :)

Just do everything you've been taught and you'll be absolutley fine.

Oh, and if you think you've made a mistake and have failed, don't let it put you off! Keep going, it might not be as bad as you thought. I thought I'd cut someone up within 5 minutes and was convinced I'd failed, then passed with just 3 minors  :)

If I can do it, I'm sure you can  8-)

Well done. One tip though, don't bend your dad's car in the first 6 months. Even if it is not your fault, you will still be walking a lot...........................Trust me ;D

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

You mean his 2.4 litre Audi V6? I'd wrap that around the tree behind the tree I just wrapped it around.

Naa I'm on the mother's insurance in a 1.6 4 cylinder. Incidently, some insurance companies thought that engine was 'too big' to insure me on - Most of my faults today were at low speeds so their claims don't really stand true  >:(

Hopefully I'm getting insured tomorrow to go for a drive. Just avoid any shiny grey cars and you'll be safe.  ;D
