Well it's a case of same s***, different flies at the FIA.
I wisht the Vatman had won, we might have got someone halfway decent at the controls of motorsport.

While I am glad Todt won.
The simple fact is Vantenan had no chance. His campaign had absolutely nothing to it. Every time he was pressed on his plans he could not provide a proper response.
Todt's was clearly set out and with his experience it was never in doubt.
What the FIA needed was someone with both motorsports experience but also behind the scenes experience without the major affiliation to a big team.
Ari was just going on his previous place as a driver, and it showed in his campaign.
little fact. Todt was Ari's co-driver some 25? years ago in rallying.
