Pepsi In A Can...Good For More Then Just Drinking

Ever since I've owned my old Ford Bronco II its never had a working fuel gauge, problem is somewhere in the wiring which on this model is nothing but a giant cluster f#@^ to begin with [smiley=door.gif]

;D ;D Not the first time I've seen that, though stainless flex pipe works a treat.

lol, it's always good to come up with new and inovative ways to temporarily fix things! :) I'm sure anyone who's worked on a car before has come up with their fair share of these handy inventions that serve the purpose :)

Kind of like the clothespin heatsink my grandpa's 37 ford has on it to prevent vapor lock :-D

My Mum Had a Daf 33 and its Exhaust had two Smash Tins on there to seal some holes.  Still on there 4 years later Gun Gum & Smash Tins do wonders :).

Those Bronco II's are a beast.  A buddy of mine used to have one we'd take off road.  Rolled it a couple of times, put it back on its wheels and drove away.  Once we even made it sit back on the rear by trying to climb too steep a hill.

They really are a beast.  I've slammed 4 deer in that thing and you cant even tell, only damages ever caused was the passengers side getting smashed in by a truck.   And a tree incident a long time ago...had to use a tree at a friends house to stop thanks to brakes failing me...it was either that or hit the house :-[  Its in great shape now that its all fixed up.

Front end is built like a tank other then the plastic grill.  I've seen deer total vehicles before, smashing 4 off the passengers side at 50+ MPH didn't do any noticeable damages.  only pushed in the headlight just a tiny bit but you cant even tell.

Getting rid of it this weekend, was going to sell but I've got a guy trading me for a newer F-150 that's in the same condition.  Its a pretty nice looking truck, couldn't turn it down.  Might even get rid of the Silverado, its got more problems then its worth.  Really going to miss this old thing though.  To many good times in it :'(

the ole Bronc Deuce,  been years since I've seen one (they arent too popular in areas I get stationed apparently)  but quite a few of my friends had them in high school and a close buddy of mine that I was stationed with in Hawaii has his in storage up in Oregon, nothing but good things to say about the Deuce haha many good memories ripping up trails in Michigan.
