The Big Freeze

Third paragraph down;

Dennis: I will not quit McLaren (the title alone should boil Craig's blood ;D)

However it mentions the FIA now dropping the February hearing because McLaren said sorry and will freeze its development of some aspects of the new car. Anyone know for how long the freeze is for?
Also, maybe this is a bit simplistic, McLaren have said sorry, fair enough, but:
The FIA called the meeting because the recent investigation into the car had uncovered evidence that the Ferrari information could have been used in its design during the inspection a few weeks/months back.
What this now says is that it is OK for McLaren to have Ferrari inspired parts on their car just so long as they do not develope them :-? Or was this all along about the public humiliation of Ron Dennis?

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
