Lunch break times from day 3 at Jerez. It would seem Ralf is doing his best impression of a useless twit. While big brother is probably laughing att he other end of the pitlane thinking, "i'm getting paid 5 times as much to do 5 times less, and i'm still faster" ::)

i think he had some tachnical issues during the day.

i never really take winter testing times to seriously.  everyone is trying something very different, wheather it be new aero stuff, tyres, running different fuel etc.

Unfortunatly for ralf his drive next year rests on these times so he does have to take it seriously.
everyone else not so much, as they are just messing about with 2009 stuff let alone 2008.

final times:
1.  KUBICA        BMW         1m19.157s

2.  HAMILTON      McLaren     1m19.331s

3.  MASSA         Ferrari     1m19.333s

4.  WEBBER        Red Bull    1m19.605s

5.  GLOCK         Toyota      1m19.687s

6.  DE LA ROSA    McLaren     1m19.787s

7.  PIQUET JR     Renault     1m19.834s

8.  M SCHUMACHER  Ferrari     1m19.885s

9.  BARRICHELLO   Honda       1m19.905s

10. HEIDFELD      BMW         1m20.125s

11. ROSBERG       Williams    1m20.301s

12. VETTEL        Toro Rosso  1m20.339s

13. BOURDAIS      Toro Rosso  1m20.507s

14. TRULLI        Toyota      1m20.775s

15. NAKAJIMA      Williams    1m20.802s

16. FILIPPI       Honda       1m20.915s

17. COULTHARD     Red Bull    1m21.055s

18. SATO          Super Aguri 1m21.093s

19. LIUZZI        Force India 1m21.194s

20. R SCHUMACHER  Force India 1m21.853s

I've got to find out some reasons for schumi's poor time, I know he was running slicks, but whether or not that was with 09 downforce like some have done is not known. Tomorrow his time is all that matters. Possibly the last time he'll drive the car this year so will wanna go out with a bang. :)

as thought schumi's slick times were all wasted on the 2009 monza setup.

true, and I know he's only there to help out with these systems, but I'd like to see him getting a hot run every day. That time was set in the morning the rest of the day was 09 work. ::) One report said Schumi was following Piquet and racing him for several laps, but he wasn't pushing, eventually Piquet had to give up because he couldn't keep up the pace and let schumi by.

Ralf now seems to have thrown in the towel. He said today he didn't want to be there and was doing it as a favour. I think he's done in F1.
