It would appear that Renault are in a little deeper than they are letting on if this is anything to go by.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Like I said why not punish all teams for cheating when we know they all probably do it at some time?

Of course they all copy each other, the differance being, most teams send a guy with a digital camera down the pitlane on race weekends to get as many pictures as possible, they then get an artist to sketch these pictures into a 3d drawing. While a little unethical its not illegal.
Unfortunatly two bad eggs have taken it beyond unethical and gone into an area that even the F1 world doesn't accept.
I cant imagine who leaked the information. ::) I've gotta say Mclaren have no integrity what so ever. I dont doubt for a second it is they who are responsible, simply to take some of the heat off of them. Add in the challenge to the brazilian result they've really lost it.
At least Ferrari make no secret of what they are doing if they go to the courts or do something wrong (we tried it we got caught oh well we'll move on). Mclaren try to make out like they are an innocent victim in the whole thing.
