Spa is not officially gone apparently. The FIA are still saying its on the calender.

Spa is dead because of local (and EU) regulations concerning tobacco adverts.
Same reason why with Paris Dakar nobody of the Gauloises sponsored teams showed up in their full race overalls before Morocco

thats rubbish chris....tobacco companies aint the only ones who will sponsor these teams, just that the tobacco mafia thow more money at people like ecclestone and get them to whine about it. i think duck has every right to be angry they are taking live sport away from people just so they can make more money and that greedy short arse ecclestone can buy his wife more shoes.

AGAIN ITS THE FANS THAT LOSE OUT.

sorry, but i lost interest in f1 years ago. i'd much rather watch wrc or touring cars, at least they are interesting
