Would you....

Would you give up your baby to buy a prestine condition 1947 Piper Cub?

I was working at the airport Saturday, when I noticed there was a Piper Cub hiding under a blue tarp.  I looked into it, and the guy hardly ever flys the plane, like never.

Now this got me real excited, and my mind locked down on this thought of me owning a plane.  Since then I have been entertaining the thought of me flying my Cub every Saturday morning, exploring all the little charming airports in Kansas, and taking friends up to screw around a little bit.

Then I thought, " I have college, and a real bitchin' car to pay for, how will I pay for it...assuming the guy will sell it to me?"

So my question to you is-  Would you give up a car you love to own a plane you would love even more?

I understand that flying is not practical, or cheap, but I have fallen in love with this idea.

What kind of car do you have?  That could answer the question.

Well, my car isn't worth the value of a Piper Cub so I would trade it.  Then I would sell the Cub and buy a nicer Camaro-so, I guess that answer to your question would be yes...and then no.   ;D ;)

Well, that makes me feel better.  I thought that I was going to get a lot of flak for my response.  But, now if anyone makes a comment about trading and selling-it will also reflect the opinion of one of our all powerful mods.  So, a banning could result!!!  Therefore, no one will ridicule my opinion!! ;D

...except of course a admin.   ::)

Sell the Mustang, buy the plane, sell the plane, buy new
Mustang GT conv.  The new Mustangs are awsome.  I
had a 68 Mustang gt and a 69 Mustang Mach 1.  I kick
myself for getting rid of them but, back then you didn't think!!
