Anyone else feel this way?

Postby Jared » Sun Aug 28, 2005 3:31 pm

So in the past month my truck (97 Chevrolet S-10) has been in the shop twice and I'm still not sure if it is all good to go...

First time we thought we had a bad starter, I wanted to replace it myself, but dad insisted on paying to take it somewhere to have it fixed....a  day later we found out it was just the battery...lol...

Then a little over a week ago I went to leave for a meeting at the school and there was an awful sound like I was dragging the tail-pipe on the ground....so I parked it and the next day we played with it, took all the wheels off, cleaned the brakes, etc....and it seemed to help because the noise went away pretty much...just every once in awhile for a brief second it would sound like a spring was pinging in the brakes.....

So dad took it down the street to our trusty mechanic and he too cleaned the brakes and adjusted them, went over it all and said eh couldn't find anything else....

So hopefully I'm good to go again since school starts Tuesday for me.. :(
