It's a 1969 GTO Coupe with a Ram Air III engine, 3 speed automatic, 8-Track, and almost every option you can get except for the Judge option.

Looks like a cool project.  Are you rebuilding it stock or are you doing some performance modifications to it.  If so, what kind of modifications are you doing-specifically to the engine (I assume its a 400).

There is little rust in the usual places, and we are keeping it totaly stock. Original engine and drivetrain.

Since your keeping it stock, what are some of the options on the car.

I'm not aware of what options were avilable on '69 GTOs specifically (I know what are on '69 Camaro's but there is probably some differences).

Nice car..:)

I've inherited my grandfathers 63 Comet (Project car)

Only thing that keeps it from being more desirable is the 4-door.... ::)

anmd of course the automatic transmission IMHO....;)

Wow, you even have the build sheet-thats pretty impressive.  It looks like it has some rare options too, especially the power windows (I don't know how rare those are on the '69 GTO but I assume they are about the same rarity as the '69 Camaro power windows which only about 1% of the cars had).

Here's a question, it says it has a Turbo Hydromatic transmission (3-speed auto), do you know if its the T/H350 or T/H400 transmission?  I'd be interested to know which Pontaic generally used behind the 400ci V8.

So, the put the bigger trans behind the 400.  I think the power windows are rare on any American car from the 1960s.  Thats a really nice project!
