Our US exchange pilot came in chuckling the other day, telling us how back home people were paying about $2/gallon, and getting upset about it...

Over here at the mo we're paying around

Yurei Trust me when i say you dont need to drive coast to coast to make good use of it. most cars in the US run off of 2.5L+ engines an some of the more popular american cars use the classic 3.0 or 3.5L engines. Which get roughly 20 to 25 miles to the gallon. My last trip over there was only 6 days we had an 05 taurus and had to fill up at least 4 times. At the time gas was about $1.90 a gallon. It was great though, the guy in the gas station asked us why we were filling up the car so often with prices being so high. Couldnt help but laugh at his jaw dropping when i said it was $7 a gallon back home.
