How much power do those 3.8L Mustang's have?  I seem to remember reading somewhere they were slightly under the Camaro's 3.8L which was rated at 200hp.

If the GT pony has 350hp, then the SVT will rival the Vette!
the current gt is 300bhp

the old svt had an underated 390 bhp/390ft-lb (although most people claim they get those numbers on a stock svt to the wheels!). the old svt could pretty much keep up with a low level vette. i am guessing that the new svt (assuming that they do not do a shelby varriant) will be between 410-430 bhp.

the new Saleen s281sc has 400 bhp and 420 lb-ft, and the svt normally puts down higher numbers than the regular s281sc
Sincerely,
Me

Oh, my.  I was just at WSU and a brand new red GT Deluxe parked by me.  I was drooling over it, when Some guy came up to me and said "you can't resist can you?"  I told him I was a big ponycar fan and told him whoever drove this baby was a lucky SOB.  He replied-"Yes I am lucky!"

Thats a compliment, if you haven't noticed.

People who care about their cars choose their parking spaces carefully.  Example:  Hmmm, do I park my E-Class next to the rusty 1985 F-150, or next to the Lexus?
