Anyone know where the temperature sending unit is on these things?  Mine is bad and I can't find the darn thing anywhere...  ::) :P

Usually on GM engines, the water tempature sending unit is located on the left side of the block (driver's side) down just below the head-I just changed it in my '69 Camaro's 350 engine.  I'll go look at my 3.8L engine in my '96 and see if I can find it.

OK, I just went out and looked at my '96 Camaro's 3.8L engine and I couldn't see it.

Actually, forget that-I found it in my Haynes manual.  I'm sending you a scan of the page via e-mail.  I saved it as a .jpg file and its about 1.75MB.

Just so you know, this comes out of the 4th generation Camaro Haynes manual.

Hopefully, that will be all the help you need.   ;D
