Cadillac and Lincoln trivia

Interesting tidbit....

Both Cadillac (later bought by GM) and Lincoln Motor Company (later bought by Ford) were both established by Henry Leland.  After a falling out with GM, he left, established his company to build Liberty engines in WW1 and later established Lincoln.

Yes, they are likely to be together again - out of business.

Caddy's were interesting late 30's early 40's and in late 40's with the OHV engine.  After that - big POS.

Lincoln was a pretty car 39 - 41.  POS after that.  Currently a Jag in drag.

Cannot engineer, cannot design.  Prey for Toyota and Honda.
