Ta, Doug!

Good to see you again!
I'm feeling fine.
I just keep taking the tablets, with a happy smile!
Lots of shopping, (Mr Sainsbury loves me!), and home cooking all day long, to keep my tummy in good order...
...with an occasional drop of Vino!!... ...!
Take care, Doug...
It's nearly time for you to pop a toe into the English Channel as the weather gets slowly warmer!.... ... ...!

Always interesting stuff!

I'm missing my FSX Gyrocopter (etc) to explore the USA, (as I have been for the past 24+ years) since my previous Gaming Computer caught fire recently and I haven't yet transferred all my FSX files over onto my New HP Gaming computer.

Hello Paul. Good to see you here in the forum again. Sorry to hear about your computer crash, hope all goes well with the file transfers. I have not gotten my bike out of storage yet but should be doing it in the near future.
Hope that Daisy is treating you well.
Have a great week

It was my 90th Birthday a week ago, (2nd March), and to remind you all, I'm still riding my trusty Motorcycles every day, around my English County (when it's not raining!).
I'm just waiting for the warmer weather to arrive after a chilly, wet Winter, to travel farther afield!
My previous Advant Gaming Computer went to the Computer Heaven in the Sky in flames, a year ago, and I still haven't got around to transferring all my old Flight Sim files onto my new HP Gaming Computer...
...so I may be some time!... ...
...90-year-old "tiredness" gets in the way!.... ...!
Anyhoo Chums, don't forget to keep up with all my latest escapades on my trusty steed (Daisy), exploring the world at ground level, before I get my trusty Gyrocopter fired up again, in Sim V!
Take care all...
Keep the rubber side down, and the wings a-flapping, and always be safe!

A nice sunny May day, after a wet April, so what better than to go for a motorcycle ride in the sunshine on my way to the shops for some nice things to cook and eat!

So take a trip with me around my local countryside!.... 8-) ...!

Enjoy the journey!

18th of July, 2024, and I'm back up into the skies again after getting my HP Victus Ryzen Gaming Computer fixed after a fortnight's break when it was presented with a new Ryzen Central Processor...
It would no longer boot up to Windows!
Anyhoo....
As a change from my usual Motorcycle explorations, I have treated myself to my latest Flight Simulator, the latest FS2020 Flight Simulator, from Steam!
So different from all my previous Microsoft Flight Simulators, FS9 and FSX!
This one sports Google Satellite Scenery which makes it highly realistic!
My trusty FSX has taken a back seat for a while as I explore the world at a very low level, (mostly Southern California, etc), in my Icon A5 Aircraft!
It's a whole different world from the air, compared to my usual two-wheeled travels at ground level!
I'm having loads of FUN, as I remember my latest shopping trip to Sainsbury's....on two wheels!...>>>

Far less traffic in the air...LOL... ....!

Many thanks, Pete!
I hope that you are keeping well...we have both been around for a very long time!.... :o ...!
At the ripe old age of 90 now, I'm still terrifying all the local Villagers and Livestock with my 2-wheeled
explorations on my trusty Motorcycle, (1996 Honda CMX250C Rebel)!
...and I'm still cruising around the USA, (Mostly California), in the air daily with my various Flight Simulators!
My latest purchase from "Steam" is the 2020 40th Anniversary ASOBO Flight Simulator with its realistic Satelite Mapping!
Amazing resolution!
...but...for sheer enjoyment, I still hang onto my original 2006 CDs of Microsoft FSX, together with its wealth of free add-ons collected over many years!
I explore the Countryside from both the ground and the air every day...weather permitting...
..in between lots of tasty home cooking every day!
...the secrets to a long and healthy life...with lots of fun thrown in!
Take care, all... ...!

Where did summer go the weather has been awful, good to see you are still enjoying riding your bikes.

Just built a new PC but avoided getting MSFS, don't like the way it updates.

Any gyrocopters available for MSFS?

Hello, all my faithful Motorcycle Chums, and everyone else, all around the world!
Sad news, I'm afraid... :( ...!
After some 75+ years of daily Motorcycling (I obtained my motorcycle licence in 1950), I have finally decided to hang up my trusty Motorcycle boots (and everything else), at the age of 92 years, due to a lack of strength to manage "Daisy" (my present 1996 Honda CMX250C Rebel, Cruiser Motorcycle.... :violin: ....!
I still have all my "Marbles" regarding safety on the road, for me and others, (the constant fear of dying), it's just the difficulty, being all skin and bone, little strength, and weighing a mere 130 LBS (in old money), trying to manage my Motorcycle (pushing it around), etc...:? ...!
I cancelled my Yearly Vehicle Tax and surrendered Daisy to my Garage, and covered her up to go to sleep!.... ...!
I've spent many happy years exploring the local scenery of England and Wales by two wheels, on the ground, so now I'm concentrating on exploring the scenery of the World (mostly the USA) from the air, with my various Flight Simulator "games", Microsoft Flight Sim since 1982, all the way to my present favourite, MSFS2020 on my HP Gaming Computer and my BenQ Gaming Monitor and my Thrustmaster X Flight Stick!.... ...!
So all is not lost!
The constant stress of keeping all my various Ultralight Aircraft safely in the air keeps my mind active in between continuing to prepare, cook, and eat all my Famous Home-Cooked meals!
So, there you go, folks, after many years of being a faithful member of Simviation since the late 1990s, I still pop in every day to follow all the exciting news!
(Many thanks, Pete).
Take care, all...
...and avoid the dreaded tail-spin and nose-overs when braking, and flat-spin in the air when stalled!
Trust me...Been there, done it, many times, got all the T-shirts!.... :o ... :o ... :o ...!
....... ... ... ...!

So good to hear from you Paul! Sorry to read we won't be seeing any more of your lovely videos but you did have the experiences and now lots of fond memories.

Things aren't quite what they were here anymore but we still get 1000's of downloads every week (140 million since 2010!) so good to see FSX and earlier are still popular.

Keep us posted on your life Paul ... and I do miss those hunger inspiring photos of your meals! :D
