For information, AccuFeel is now available for something like 15 dollars or so.
I got it as soon as I could of course. The only thing I can say about it is... wow !
That pretty much summarizes the situation.
I made some test flights both with freeware and payware planes (non-Accusim), but mostly with freeware planes. Honnestly, the level of immersion is radically changed. I tried it first with the Meyers 200D from Tim Conrad, and this plane has been taken into a whole new dimension. These sounds and shakes produced by the AccuFeel module where changing the way the flight was perceived from the cockpit. You get more... how to say it.... aware... something like this. It's like your flying environment suddently gets some "consistency".
Those who own the Accusim P-40 might know what I'm talking about. Even though I was piloting a freeware plane, I was getting similar sounds on ground and in the air than I got with the P-40, that was great.
The module is fully adjustable. Some default values are computed for each plane according to what is written in the aircraft.cfg, and then you get sliders for each effect to adjust its intensity to your taste. It's really easy to use.
Now I am "rediscovering" each of my freeware planes in my hangar.
