Digital Aviation Piper Cheyenne

Hi there,

I'm hoping someone out there can help,..I just purchased & downloaded the DA Piper Cheyenne,..the installalation appeared to be OK, but I can't find it when I open FSX the the only way I can access the aircraft is by the "publisher" dropdown menu in the aircraft section..when it appears in VC mode, all seems OK except for the windows being "blacked out"..things appear better in 2D mode, except for the GPS doesn't engage in "Nav hold". Yes I have installed both SP1 & SP2..

So where did I go wrong?..did I install it in the wrong folder? (FSX main)..I'm hoping someone can help, because instructions & support appear to be non-existant..

From their website...
Support will be moved to the Aerosoft forums (DA20, Cheyenne and CRJ) and the Flight1 forums (Fokker).

Have you asked at Aerosoft?

cheers,
Joe

Are you running win7 or vista, if you are did you install fsx in the default folder, that causes security issues, first thing if you did, reinstall fsx on a different drive or folder away from win7. The plane should be in fsx/simobjects/airplanes. All you normally need to do is pont the installer to the fsx folder, and the installer automatically puts it into the correct folder.
