Carenado P210 panel is transparent

Hey guys,
I got the Cessna P210 from Carenado, which is an FS2004 plane with a patch for FSX, and it works great, save for the fact that the panel is transparent. All the gauges are there and working, but you can literally "see" right through the front of the plane. Pretty weird.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and maybe has a solution.
Thanks!

I don't have the 210 from Carenado, but the only time I see textures going transparent is when the plane actually uses some pretty high-res textures. This has happened to me when loading up one of Carenado's HD series planes. One of the symptoms is FSX crashing when you open say, your kneeboard, or something.
To fix, you can try adding highmemfix=1 under [graphics] in your fsx.cfg file. That should normally do it.
Beyond that, I'm, not sure.

I just purchased the Bonanza A26 and had the same problem plus a few extras. Carenado installation forces you to install into Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X. If you have followed the frequently recommended performance tweek of placing FSX in its own directory on the C drive this will confuse your computer when installing any Carenado aircraft. Carenado should know better but they couldn't care less when confronted with the problem.

Problem solved itself when I reinstalled FSX on my new computer and downloaded into MS Games/... I had an earlier Bonanza, V35, from Carenado and occassionally I lost some of the panel. With that I reinstalled the airplane and it cleared. As I recall, that was also a 2004 acft with a patch for FSX
