I recently got the Aerosoft Catalina, and I thought I would write a "mini review" of it, not in the comprehensive style of Avsim, where we look at all the various features inside and out, but sort of as an informal transcription of my first impressions on a flight early on in the learning process.

[color=#000000]Since I am not a real pilot and seldom attempt to fly realistically, there were some things I was not familiar with or did not understand, like Vyse and METO. But I think it is very well written and I enjoyed it.

What a fantastic reveiw, and a great read!
I have this aircraft and your observations really describe it well. I enjoy flying it, but rearly take it out. dont really know why not as its a beautiful model, i guess i dont like the way it 'swings' around in the air like it does.
also, i'm more of a 'winging it' pilot

I had thought about doing this kind of informal semi-review/flight example type post for several payware aircraft, but I'm not sure that there is enough interest here on simviation or if the administrators favor it.

Nice read Snippy and your reviews are welcomed here at Simviation, as long as it centered around this site if ya know what I mean

To solve your
It was actually somewhat difficult to fit all I had to say in the 12000 word limit,
you need to think outside the box...
If you maxed out your limit in the original post, just reply to your original post by adding the additional information in the next post. Kind of what we do in the Monthly Screenshot announcement...
Thanks!
