Do you have EZdok by any chance?
If not try flying a default aircraft in the air then switch to F/A-18 in flight and see what happens.

ummm.... not sure what that is.?
i have a possable solution from someone who has the superbug hornet and had the same problem.
it seem like a cool payware since you can create different under the wing load outs for a bunch of cool liveries.

Try contacting the makers of the aircraft. THey made it, so they can probably give you the best advice on ways to fix your problem.

I had to read the manual!

Then I somehow figured out how to do an autostart (shift + E) but I forgot what I did. :-/
Let me give it a go and I may figure out what I did.
BUT! If ya read the manual, startup is not all that too difficult........if I can figure it, anyone can!

if you cant get any of the control surfaces to move, id say it sounds like a control stick issue rather than the aircraft itself.

the flaps move i just cant get the basic motion surfaces to move weather its with the control stick or the arrow pad it wont turn or go up or down.

Ive noticed that the Superbug does this to me (everything seems to work except for the control surfaces and there are irregular cautions on the displays) after flying the CH-53 from Nemeth (it starts cold and dark by default).
Try making your default flight the Cessna 172 w/engines running. Then restart FSX.

ill try that next time i get on it. but for me everything is running it just the basic control surfaces that dont work which are the one to make the plane go up down left and right. everything else is working. and the plane wont move in thoes directions.

You have described
exactly what happens to me. Try my fix, it worked for me (I have to restart FSX after I fly the CH-53 before the Superbug's control surfaces will operate).
In the preferences section of the ACM that came with the Superbug, it says "If this is your first flight in the Superbug, please load the default Cessna 172, quit FSX, then run the Superbug. Quit once more and run the ACM."

by restart do you mean close out completely or just start another flight with the superbug?
