I don't know how many here have seen this, but I am sure that alot of us have seen the movie AVATAR.  Well, since the movie came out, a lot of us have been waiting patiently for someone to build the helo's from the movie.    Well, the wait might have to be not that much longer.


The Nemeth brothers are doing just that.  Building the SA-2 Samson. Take a look.

This is a very bad choice for them if they want to turn the company around and start releasing the most realistic helicopter add-ons! The Huey was a wreck, and now they are creating a fictional helicopter. What are they thinking?!

That there' a potential market.  I'm 90% sure that I will buy it when it's released.

depending on the external model / texturing, and if they could/would build it for FS9 as well, not only X, then I WILL buy it!   There are a few other craft that I would love to have, but unfortunately, no one seems to be willing to build them.

IIRC, a couple of months ago, someone posted snaps of his WIP of a "Samson on steroids".  I believe he called it the "Atlas".  Looked pretty good, and I hope it's progressing.

Is anyone taking on the Mountain Banshees or the Leonopteryx, with or without "makto"?   :P

You might be referencing what I have dubbed the "Goliath" (Samson --> Goliath?) that I was redoing from a mesh I discovered on Sci-Fi Meshes several months ago.

Yes, that's the one!  Shame about the external HD.

I don't know anything about the Nemeth brothers or their best choice to improve business, but I would probably buy it as well.
