Help with Aerosoft products

Postby pfevrier » Wed Dec 16, 2009 1:40 am

Hey guys,

I recently won a contest, and I get to have 3 downloadable products from Aerosoft. I've been looking at their website for a long time now, and I can't decide, so I would like your opinion.

So far here are the products from Aerosoft that I already have: PBY Catalina, Twin Otter, Lukla, Tahiti, Lord Howe Island, and Patrouille Suisse X.

Here are the products on my wish-list. I need a top three, or reviews/personal experiences with those:

(in no particular order)
- PMDG BAe Jetstream 4100
- Seahawk & Jayhawk X
- Wilco E-Jets Series - Embraer 170/190
- FDC Live Cockpit X
- ProFlight Emulator Deluxe
- Mallorca X
- Mega Airport London-Heathrow X
- VFR London X & City Airport
- Austria Professional X
- Ibiza X
- VFR Germany 3 - South

Please let me know what your top 3 would be out of all of those.
Thank you for your help

Do you own or have any experience on any of these?
I've been trying to find something on Austria X, but so far no luck. Do you know where I could find a review?

VFR Germany South is a very good addon. :)

- PMDG BAe Jetstream 4100 very recommendable
- Wilco E-Jets Series - Embraer 170/190 - I only have the airbusses from Wilco and experienced some compatibility issues with Windows 7 64 bit. But the E-Jets probably work well with Vista64 or Win7
- VFR London X & City Airport - Beautiful scenery, but very resource demanding. It is created for the UKVFR photoscenery from Horizon. If you don't have the photoscenery there is a region around the city scenery that doesn't display autogen and looks a bit odd with standard scenery.
- VFR Germany 3 - South: I like this one very much (like the other VFR Germany sceneries).

The JS4100 is VERY nice to say the least.   I'm not sorry to have it in my collection.

I settled on Austria X, VFR London X, and Jetstream 4100  :)
I downloaded them all today, and tried London so far. VERY nice scenery, very resource-intensive, I'm still playing with settings to find something decent.
And I was pretty impressed by the five manuals that came with the Jetstream, that's going to be a lot of reading for a while  :o
Thanks for your opinions!
