Eaglesoft Twin Comanche Sound

Postby snippyfsxer » Mon Nov 30, 2009 9:05 am

As far as I can tell there is only a faq on the Eaglesoft site about this aircraft, which doesn't tell me much.  I have an issue with the sound being far far too quiet for my preference.  I guess they are simulating noise-reduction headsets...Does anyone know any way to increase the volume in some config file short of actually turning up the volume on the computer?

Hi, and at the risk of sounding a bit off, have you tried the Eaglesoft support forums?

Typically they've encountered these issues before and someone has written about them.  If not, the Eaglesoft team is quite good about addressing the issues.

Elaborating on Fozzer's post; sorry if it sounded like offence. I don't think there's any other way short of increasing the volume of the original sound files.

If your speakers came with a volume knob...

...why don't you just dial that up as appropriate?

Well, I could run a different config file for that particular aircraft, or, I could, as suggested, change the sliders directly, which will reset certain things in my config file (like texture max load, for REX), or I could just change the volume knob as was also suggested, which will cause everything else to boom.

At the risk of being shouted down, Felix is pointing out what is not immediately obvious. Must admit that I missed it after first reading his suggestion as I didn't read it properly.
I suggest that you go over the the Eaglesoft site, sign up in the forums, and post your perceived problem there.

You need to register on the Eaglesoft Support Forum to access the full forum & post a question on it. You will only see the FAQ if you don't register & log in.

There is a whole section on the Support Forum devoted to the Twin Comanche. The logical place to ask about this aircraft would be to post your question there. http://www.eaglesoftdg.com/forum/

If you already know this I apologise in advance for attempting to help you.
