The visual model, cockpit, systems are great; however, they are many bugs that are just not acceptable in my standards. CS support is horrible and they are very rude.

Anybody have experience with the FSX version of LVL D 767? I used the FS9 version and it was amazing! I wish they made a 757 version as well :(

What sort of bugs are you finding? Sure you've got the latest SP?

yup! I have 4.3

errors:

Alt. Chime
Seatbelt signs
cabin calls
noise when engines off
WX radar does not work with ASA

The biggest problem I have is with their customer support, do you have any of the above problems?

For problems 1-4, open FSX/ Captain Sim/ 757/ Sound. Then replace these lines:

SoundOffWhenSimIsSlew=1
SoundOffWhenSimIsPaused=1
SoundOffWhenSimDialogIsOpen=1

with
SoundOffWhenSimIsSlew=0
SoundOffWhenSimIsPaused=0
SoundOffWhenSimDialogIsOpen=0

Hope it helps. What's the ASA?

ASA = Active Sky Advanced. It just stays in test mode the whole time.

Thanks for the info on the other sound issues, I will let you know how they work!

Hope it works for you, and I'll have a look through the manual about ASA.

I guess it just doesn't work with the 757 radar. It might work with their new WXR, but the 757 radar is older.
Glad to help in any way.

One last question:

Is there any way to get the plane to start cold/dark every time? My search through the manual was unsuccessful. The engines always start on for some reason.

Thanks!

That's an FS setting.

You'll need to save a flight w/ the aircraft setup how you want it to start.

I have the LDS 767 in FSX. It works as a charm. No frame rate issues at all, even though it has the same amount/maybe even more detail inside the VC than the CS 757. The CS 757 has more special animations, but it's really frame rate heavy.

Thanks for the feedback, I have an old LDS 767 cd for FS9 so I guess it is a no brainer to get it for $14.95.

Do you by chance use the Saitek Yoke? I heard it may have some issues; however, I did purchase the registered version of FSUIPC4. Now I have to sit and learn how to program it.

Also, I am now temped to get the Track IR. That is way too cool!
