PMDG Question
Posted: Wed Jun 03, 2009 12:38 pmI have been flying the PMDG 747 recently, and I have a question about the flap positions.
I program the FMC correctly before takeoff, and on the climbout, there are little boxes on the speedtape that tell me when to retract the flaps to 5 degrees, 1 degree, so on. Before I land, there should be the same boxes telling me when to extend the flaps to certain degrees, but they aren't there. The boxes were there one time when I was flying, but they haven't apeared since, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. On the initial descent, I complete the APPR REF, plug in the ILS if applicable....the usual stuff. But I can't figure out what I'm not doing that keeps the boxes with the flap degrees from showing up.
