I am thinking about getting FS Global for 2004. (buying it from a friend).  My question to those that already do have it..... How much of a difference did you see after you installed it? and compared to the 'out of the box scenery' would you swear by FSGlobal?  Im just trying to get an overall idea of "should i give my friend $30 for it, or is it a waste of money?"

I already have Real Environment Pro, and Ultimate Night Environment installed... and if i do install FS Global, i hope to get as close to real life flight as possible on a computer.  (then again, I'll probably need a new computer to run everything and make it look better than FSX ever could. ---- at least at the moment)

I have used FS Global Scenery Mesh for FS 2004 since it was released a few years ago.

(Together with VOZ for the scenery coloured textures)

I am delighted with it. It covers the whole world in selected Zones, which after installation, can be selected or de-selected via the Scenery Library within the Sim.

It is a definite improvement over the Default Scenery Mesh, and has no effects on Frame Rates.

Modify this in your fs9.cfg...>>>

TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=20

...increase it from 19, to increase the elevation....streams become "deeper"...;)...!

Paul...G-BPLF...FS 2004...FS Navigator...and FS Global Warming...;)...!

.... ;D...!
