DreamFleet Baron Question

Postby BigTruck » Tue Aug 26, 2008 12:04 pm

Just purchased the DreamFleet Beechcraft A36 (FS2004) and love it, the Garmin doesn't work and I checked it out online and saw the warnings on the bottom that say it is specific to Windows XP.  I run 32 bit Vista Home Premium.  No big deal, I still enjoy this plane without the Garmin.

What I want to know is, if I buy the Baron 58, will it install and fly or no?  It has a warning at the bottom of the page saying it will not install to any other OS except XP, but so did the A36 and the only thing that doesnt work is the Garmin and I dont need that to enjoy my ride.

Just checking to see if anyone here has some experience with this before I spend the cash.

Thanks!!

The Baron has, just like the A36, a Garmin using a program called Reality XP. Works in XP only. However, when you search a little further you'll find the Lite version. Without this Reality XP and so it should work in Vista without problems. However you don't get that cool Garmin stuff with it. Which doesn't work for you anyway....

Thanks Crash!

My A36 has reality XP gauges and yeah the garmin doesn't work, which doesn't bother me much as the rest of the aircraft is terrific and lately I have been flying stictly VOR to get the hang of radio nav, so as long as that is the only piece of the software that doesnt work I should be good to go!  Just wanted to know if the rest of the plane would install and fly, like the A36 did.
