Cockpit Chatter X

Does anyone here have this...
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=f1chatter
Also does this allow you to talk to ATC? Or is there other programs that can let you talk to ATC in FSX?

Talking to default, not multi player, computer controlled ATC, with a mic?  :-? Are you sure, because if I sit here for an hour like an idiot talking to my computer, and it doesn't answer I'll be put away. :P

This is what I want do able to do:

I have VoxATC for FS9, it's Ok...not fabulous. Some things I didn't like about it (they may have updated this....as the version I have is pretty old). ATC only works if you are doing IFR (you have to file a flight plan in FS), VoxATC doesn't work if you want VFR flying. Also, the readback of the controller was really slow on my computer, not as fast as the one in the video, that was probably just my computer though.

If you REALLY want to do it....VoxATC is not a bad idea. If I were you, I would join up with an FSX Multiplayer ATC group like Vatsim or something. That's the REAL way to do it, actually having a real person as ATC so you can fly SIDS, STARS, make special requests...etc. Plus...it's FREE!

I would fly on VATsim but I can't the programs to run with FSX, and the multiplayer lets me fly for a few minutes before I get kicked out for high ping, or until my router get board with working correctly.

There are a few other groups that don't have any side programs I think. But as for your internet connection, I can't really help you there :-/

I know how to use the ATC with the number system I was looking for a program that would let you talk to ATC like in VATSIM but with being on online. ;)

Well, I'm actually quite please it's $74. It was $110 when I bought it, and that was for FS9  :P.

It's the technology  ;)

I totally understand, from what I experienced, that program really isn't worth $74. You get 2 voices and an ok voice recognition system. Like you said, wait for a better version.
