Id say hold out for the Quality Wings 757. The vc they are working on at the moment is outstanding. You can sample the freeware version with no vc, and it too is a great plane!
My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

That looks really good. Hopefully the frame rate won't be bad like Captain Sim's though  ::)

Have you heard of any release date?

I can't understand why people still buy Captain Sim.. horrible customer support and horrible bugs/FPS. Or for that matter I can't believe why people still buy Wilco, Abacus and Ariane  :-?

Hey now... CS isn't that bad...

They DID put out the C-130. That package was downright amazing in every detail, and not bad on FPS either!

Abacus makes great scenery and poor aircraft,

Ariane for other reasons I do not use,

But I can't agree with you on Wilco - I have a number of their aircraft.  Those ported from FS9 are certainly not all that good on frames, but some like the Airbus series are really good and give a lot of pleasure.  They have  a good range and you can get a good cross-section of jets.

Flight1 and FSD also have a good range.  But older ported aircraft need you to be careful, especially in SP2.

You get what you pay for, and you must be alert to the fact that aircraft design is now in transition between the two versions of FS.

I do wish that PMDG would get on and finish the NGX.  I reckon they would have a runaway best seller, as we are all hanging out for a good 737 in FSX.
