Which aircraft are you looking at, once you tell me I'll help you from there. :)

Yes, they're good products. The only area they lack in is avionics - they are more basic as compared to Wilco Pilot in Command (PIC) or PMDG products.

Usually, this isn't a problem, however, if you fly on Virtual Air Traffic networks online with human ATC, it can become a problem. For example, if you're flying on VATSIM, and you need to divert or change your flight plan for whatever reason, you can either pause the game and fumble with the flight planner for 20 minutes, or fly a arrival manually by tuning the NAV radios. Not entirely realistic. In PMDG you can do it exactly as you do in real life - mess with the avionics in realtime.  ;)

And although you COULD fly it manually, I don't think you'd really want to. ;) So if you fly on Virtual Air Traffic networks or want complete realism, then get PMDG or Wilco Pilot In Command products... ONLY get the Wilco products labelled Pilot In Command (or PIC).

CLS makes some of the best exterior models out there. If you are a screenartist, they are well worth looking into.

For me, as Vodka Burner stated, they are a bit basic when it comes to actually flying them, and I  myself have now reached a point where if I am not flying with an up-to-date airac, it is now very diffcult for me to plan my flights (default flight planner and airac blows, and is generally incompatible with current SID/STAR procedures).

But if you don't mid the issues with the default flight planner and airac, and the basic system modelling, go right for CLS planes.

I'd becareful with CLS in FSX. They make FS9 models and port them into FSX and as a consequence there are a few annoying bugs which, for ever reason (probably because they are trying to make 10 aircraft at once), take ages to fix, or don't get fixed!!!!
