My simulation requirements for my aircraft are, as you will see, exacting, and I am looking into joining into the flurry that is VATSIM now, so... yeah, I strive for the most real approach to jetliner simulation one can hope for.

Current Aircraft owned:

CaptainSim 707
PMDG 747
PMDG 737
SSTSIM Concorde
(Soon) LevelD 767

I am avidly watching PMDG's MD-11 progress.

Any other aircraft worth checking out to the above standard, or close to it?

For payware, I used to operate this quite a bit, until a computer upgrade and forgetting to back up the necessary files, along with a new email address.

It was a good plane, and seemed like a full simulation of the earlier MD-80 series.

On the freeware end, the Project Tupolev Tu-154b2, along with the more recent Tu-154M, are on par with the best payware out there in my opinion, and feature complete systems simulation for each aircraft.

Check out the Flight 1 MD80, I really enjoy that aircraft. The current version is what you could calll 'old school' with no FMC and advanced navigations systems. However, an MD80 Pro version is in development which will feature a glass cockpit, FMC, and the works.

I looked at the liveries...

There's one for every airline
