Simply put...

A33/40 package or DC-10 package

Which one is better for realism/ quality... and are there any other packages similarily priced and decently realistic?

Thanks in advance...

I cannot account for the A330 & A340, but the DC-10 is quite nice!

All CLS packages are generally the same in terms of realism. I would say, that they match the default FSX 747-400 in systems, etc. and possibly handling. They are also around the same quality, I guess.

I would think, you get better value with the DC-10 - it comes with tanker models, and when things get boring, lugging passengers across from KJFK to EGLL, you can always do military ops from Edwards to McGuire (nothing beats doing a corkscrew in the KC-10).

I have the CLS DC-10/KC-10 package.  To be perfectly honest, I bought it just for the KC-10 but was pleasantly surprised.  Comes with a ton of variations and you can download additional liveries for the DC-10 models for free from the CLS site.  The CLS site itself was a bit difficult to use for a purchase but I eventually figured it out.

What I really like about their product is that it is very realistic having modeled most of the systems on the -10.  There are a multitude of pop up panels to flip switches on.  The aircraft model itself is nicely done from a visual standpoint and for once, on a payware aircraft like this, the VC doesn't kill my framerates.

I would have no problem recommending their DC/KC-10 package.
