Hi there,

I'm wondering if someone is using these two devices together? I'd be glad to hear some real world experiences, as I don't trust any reviews So I'd be interested to hear if it's any good together. I know Track IR is cool, I use it too, but I'm curious about the glasses....especially for virtual cockpits, and let's say on dual monitor setup if any

Any sharing would be appreciated

I use the Track IR and absolutely love it!

Yeah...for some reasons I have bad feelings with these glasses. First, I don't know how it works, but to get proper 3D effects, some sort of application specific interface should be exist eg. the device, or it's driver has to reach the actualy camera of the current view, and offset it, and alternate them. For some reasons I believe, it's just doing some 2D trick in our case, so I'm not convinced yet. Also I'm not completely convinced that blinking glasses are that good for your eye...

Anyone has positive experience?

I had some 3D glasses some time ago and they were a pain in the posterior if you know what I mean.
They slide off your nose and the images were not all that great if you ask me. Besides that it could cause some frame rate slow down. 8-)

Problem with the 3D glasses is they don't support Fs9 panning. All they will do in Fs9 is to make it like you have a huge screen in front of you. They do support panning in FSX and the effect is amazing. It's like being inside the cockpit. I plan to buy them when they add Fs9 panning but for now I can't afford a computer to run FSX on and surely won't be able to afford a $399 pair of 3D glasses after I've spent a couple thousand on a new computer.

Track IR however does support Fs9 so I'm looking into that as soon as I can come up with the $$$.

Track IR is the coolest addition ever for FS....I use it, and it's great.
