UTX vs. GTX

UTX vs. GTX

I have UTX USA-Canada, is GTX USA-Canada the same type of scenery add on, just from a different software house?

I have UTX and GTX and should say that GTX is REALLY beter.FSX+Acceleration+GTX=SUPER FLIGHT EXPERIENCE! :o ;D

No they are different types of addons.  UTX adjusts the roads, railroad tracks, rivers, streams, lakes, coastlines, and towns (other stuff too) to make them more accurate and realistic.  GTX replaces your default ground textures, so they both do different things and should work relatively well together.

GTX replaces autogen scenery and adds some new type autogen objects and doesnt have big Fps impact!
UTX replaces terrain,adds lakes,mountanes,etc.Also replaces ground textures,adds roads,freeways but have some bugs and slows flight loading .
IMHO both products are MUST HAVE!

Does UTX mess with mesh etc? How does it work with FSgenesis landclass and mesh?
