Abascus EZGPS v4

Hello,

I have Abacus CoPilot Pro with EZGPS v4 running on FSX and on the install list for EZGPS three of my aircraft do not show up.  One is the MD83, which is AI only so this make sense.  One is an SR71 Blackbird downloaded from the Simviation site and the other is the Robinson Helicopter that comes with FSX.  I have sent two emails to Abacus with no response, the first was sent a week ago and in all fairness the second was only sent an hour ago, acutally I just forwarded the original asking if they were going to respond.

Does anyone know what would cause the SR71 and Robinson not to show up.  I have compared the aircraft cfg files to the cfg files of aircraft that do show up and can not see any difference.  I also looked at the cfg file of the MD83 to see if anything said AI only so I could compare this to the SR71, but I did not see anything that said this is AI only.

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,

Rod

A quick check on the models:

MD-83 is AI so in the aircraft.cfg it has a flag in the air file that identifies it as such  (The Piper PA-28-180 should also not appear on the EZGPSv4 install screen)

While the Bell helicopter appears, the Robinson does not.  I suspect that is because the ROBINSON's cfg file is named sim.cfg instead of .cfg

Which SR71 Blackbird are you talking about?  I'd like to give it a check.

Thanks for the response, you can get the SR71 from the FSX military jets download section in simviation.com

I got an email from Abacus and the email lead me to look at my aircraft.cfg file  For the panel there was
panel=71

The panel folder for the SR71 was named
panel.71

From the Abacus email content I decided to try to rename the panel folder so I changed the aircraft.cfg file to
panel=

and I renamed the SR71 panel folder to just
panel

and that worked.  Just thought that I would let everyone know.  Also I found out that you can go into the panel folder and add EZGPS to the panel.cfg file  You can compare a file that has EZGPS added to one that you want to add it to and just modify accordingly.
