Simviation Forums

Does FEX do anything to improve scenery or is it all about improving colors?  I want to purchase a scenery add on and would FEX work for this?  I see a lot of people in this forum have recommend Ultimate Terrain X for a scenery add on.  Is FEX better or am I trying to compare an apple to an orange?  What is the best scenery add on for FSX or is there not one that is best it just depends on what you want it to do?

FEX is only sky and i think water You should get it and combine it with Ultimate Terain X a very good combonation until Ground Environment X comes out if it does

I'm fine with FS Sky World and FS9 thank you very much

Well I have Flight Environment for FS9, and it's the BEST sky, clouds, water and sun textures add-on I have ever seen!!!
Surely the new FSX version will be further improved and as great for FSX users as the fs9 version for FS9 was!!!  :D

I have FE for FS9 and it's simply awesome. I have no doubt in my mind FEX would be a solid investment. Granted, I've not used it (FEX) yet, so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt. If I flew FSX more then what I am currently I wouldn't hesitate to get it. Matter of fact, the day I make a permenant switch to FSX, this will be purchased immediately.
