Anyone have any experience with THE LZ helicopter models?

I'd like to get some opinions from others if I can before I pay for any of them. The models look great!

I believe this question has been asked here before - and from the look of the website quality ALONE they have no idea how to model. Lets not even get started on their modelling/texturing.  :o

I asked this same question a few months ago. I also tried to get some info on Hovercontrol.com. I couldn't bring myself to paying for one without ALOT of screenshots.

Well, I "bit the bullet" and ordered the Bell Huey UH-1H / 205 "HOG" from THE LZ for 7 US Dollars:

Ordering was easy and the email reply with the file was immediate. Installing it in my FSX was as easy as installing any other add-on. In my opinion, the texturing and detailing is as good as any other add-on I've put in my FSX or better. Though the heli was designed for FS2004, it performes well in FSX (0ther than the usual gauge and VC problems that you get when putting an FS2004 aircraft into FSX). It came with a Bell 206 panel / gauges, but you can update to Huey UH-1H / 205 panels and gauges for free on THE LZ site. The only graphics problems I have are "black" instead of "clear" windows, a "black" instead of detailed rotor mast and the front of the skids look a bit "burried" in the ground sometimes...all having to do with an FS2004 aircraft in FSX. If the heli is installed in FS2004, these graphic "problems" don't exist and all is fine. I've been informed by "Blades" Booth from THE LZ and THE LZ Team that he / they are in process of upgrading their models to be FSX compatible and are also working on Bell Huey UH-1H / 205 repaints.
