Ground Environment

Everytime I install it it says the destination path does not exsist. I've tried putting it in manually but I still don't think it's working. I also run Ultimate Terrain USA,Ultimate Traffic, and Flight Environment. They all seem to work flawlessly. What should the path be? Perhapse I need to type it in manually in the install box because nothing else seems to work even when it says it's going to my flightsim. When I go into MSgames,FS9 and see all the folders, the GE folder is there but apparently not where it needes to be. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.

I'm pretty sure it asks you to place the file in its own folder on the main C:\ drive. I have just checked and have no GE folders in my main FS folder.

I've done it both ways. I let it install to my C drive, then load the program to my E drive (it knows where my FS9 is without directing it). I still get destination path not found. So I load it directly to FS9. Do what is instucted and still get the same message. So I took the generic worl folder and copyied and paste it in the world folder and still nothing.......................

Perhaps you are missing your registry path.  Seems to happen to some users for some reason.  Here's the fix for it:

http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library  - Registry Repair Tool.

Then try to install.

GE installs on the drive that FS9 is installed on. It creats its own folder. The problem you said happened to me too. I contacted Flight1 and they replied saying that it indeed was that registry thing that Orlaam suggested...Unfortunately, my reply came after 1 week of misery...but it was worth it...GE rocks ;)
