I'm having problems with the engine start on all the prop airplanes. I go by the checklist, but the Engine start button won't stay down long enough to start the engine...
Any help welcome

It's the er package. Also, the C+E works, but I like realism in a B-17

Really sort of annoying :-/

A couple of likely problems could be on the co-pilots panel have you set the fuel supply to ALL?
On the electrical panel have you turned on all the batteries?
Are you starting engine 3 first? You have to do this one before activating the generator to start the others in the sequence 4, 1 and 2...

And if Ozzy's suggestion doesn't work, you can also try clicking the starter button successively until the engine starts...

The start-up sequence I gave is the correct one as per the WoP manual. I find when all else fails it is a good idea to read the manual
