I do not have any payware aircraft and I thought that I might but myself one for my birthday. I realize that this is a very broad question, but what do you think is the best payware plane out there?

Well if you feel like waiting, VR Simulations is making a F/A-18 that looks amazing. ;)
Happy birthday by the way.

What do you prefer to fly?

My favorites are the PMDG 747, CS C-130, and the LDS 767. I also like to fly the Carenado 182Q.

If you tell us what kind of flying you do most often, people will be able to give you better answers.

Get the PMDG 747. Its the best and a great investment.

But do remember it is VERY heavy on frames, and is also quite expensive. If you could give us a limit of how much you would like to spend, your system specs, what part of the world you fly in, and anything else, we could point you in the right direction  ;)

I am interested in a 737 or CRJ as I do not fly big jets like the 747 and the Airbus. I fly on the east coast of the U.S. I hope that helps.   ;)

Price range?

Without that I am unable to narrow the search down anymore, but here are some aircraft I know of;
feelThere ERJ-145
feelThere CRJ-200/700/900 (Although this is only available on CD, and POSKY do a very good freeware version  ;))
FiftyNorth 737
PMDG 737-600/700 (ULTRA realistic, will take time to learn the manual/procedures, but well worth it for the end result. Please be very sure you want this, it can be very daunting, and is not so much of a 'jump in and fly' aircraft)
PMDG 737-800/900 (Same as above)
Wilco 737-300/400/500 (Many complain of Large Framerate hit, and it is slowly becoming largly out-dated)

Hope some of those links helped, do get back to me if you feel you want some personal advice, or more options  ;)

Alex

Mind you that the 800-900 is a upgrade and requires the PMDG 737-600/700. Though very good looking. But you need to be into all the start-up and procedures stuff.

Then you probably havent got a legal version, it says on the website the 800-900 is a update and requires the 600-700.
