I was just curious to know if anyone on here has used or currently using this software? It seems like a good peice of software however, the only thing that turns me off to buying this is the fact that you cannot save in midflight if your doing a flight thats more than 3 hrs.

FSP: Sorry I tried hard during weeks to have this feature up because the Fs SDK doesn't allow that.
Finally I found the workaround by calling Fs's save/restore code directly and it worked for me. Problem it didn't worked for most beta tester and the problem seem to come from the Fs restore code.

A problem that you have only on some computer and not for you is almost impossible to debug, also even Fs himself have problem to restore aircraft that have complex panel from time to time.

So a save/restore that you can't trust 100% is absolutely impossible to add, so I disabled this code.

Good things anyway: a save/restore would destroy the purpose of FsP:
Adding realism while giving you stress and concern during your flight. If you were able to save and restore, there is the opportunity to cheat and this would reduce the challenge.

I'd like to add some realism to flying the PMDG 747 but this addon just isn't making me want to purchase it ya know.

Your thoughts?

The PMDG 747 and FSPassengers should work seamlessly together  ;)

I have both, and have used them on a few flights. The one downside I can say is with the loading of the aircraft. The FSPassengers window uses the default FS fueling system for flights, and as you are probably aware, PMDG has its own fuelling system, that is more realistic then the FS one. This has the result of either having an unbalanced fuel load, of FSPassengers thinking that you have no fuel at all!

Overall, I think that if you have the money, buy both! FSPassengers will enhance any other FS flight you make, and PMDG will be realistic enough for you to not need FSP!

Which ever one you choose I'm sure that you won't regret it, they are both fantastic addons  ;)

I have both FSPassengers and the PMDG 747. I have never had a problem with them working together. I have heard of the fuel issue but I have never had any problems with fuel.

I have FSpassangers now and its really cool. I was trying to run it with FS2Crew but there's a overhead panel issue with it. I'm currently flying with a 2 monitor setup and according to the PDF manual for FS2Crew, you can't do that, which really blows right now. I've posted the problem over at their tech support but so far no solution or work around for this.
