I wonder.

Do you think Captain Sim's space shuttle can really behave normally in FSX space without having to tumble around? These shots seem to say so.

Another thing that's running through my mind. Does anyone know if the atmospheric effects of reentry can really change the look of the exterior model?

Well, if Captain Sim got it right, I suppose it should run fine...Sucks how they didn't implement the launch sequence...That would've been so much fun...As for atmospheric effects, maybe maybe not...I'm guessing it may just be an effect that takes hold of the aircraft at certain G's...Kinda like those vortices that appear on some aircraft when high G's are pulled...Maybe these are controlled by some gauge...Just a thought ;)

I could be wrong here but I do not think a gauge is used for those kind of effects. If you have the aircraft takes damage swith  selected than that might cause a problem. Otherwise it will not effect anything. I sometime take a plane up to flight level 320 and higher open the main exit and tell every one to take hike. ;D I will be nice enough to extend the stairs on the planes that are equipped with them.
I have to admit a plane looks strange flying at that altitude with the door open and the stairs extended. ::) 8-)
