Recommend me some payware...

I'm after either a single or twin prop aircraft with a nice model and flight dynamics. I'll be using it for bush-flying, short hops and joy flying. I want it to be simple and easy to control. What do you suggest?

EDIT: I've decided on the Cessna U206G Stationair 6 II but may continue looking at twin props, so keep the suggestions coming!

Carenado's 206 is indeed a masterpiece!

I would also recommend;

Carenado Cessna 182RG

RealAir SIAI Marchetti SF.260

RealAir Bellanca Citabria, Scout and Decathlon package

Dreemfleet Baron 58

Thanks for the recommendations... But I must admit the 206 is looking quite a treasure, and seems quite popular. I've also heard that the Baron is a nice craft.

The RealAir Spitfire XIV and SF.260 are MUST haves!!!
There are quite a lot of nice payware packages out there depending on what you want..... I'd take a good look at the payware screenies forum ;)

Already in the process of doing that. So far I think I'm settling on the 206... it looks quite nice. Will also check out your recommendation oz.

I've noticed it suggested quite a lot for bush flying... I don't know why. Anyway, I'm not too much of a vintage man myself.

I use my Spit for bush flying. Just takes skill to get her into the same strip most people struggle with using a Cub! Of course I'm the nutcase that landed an An-225 at SESM many years ago when someone said it wasn't possible ;D

And why not indeed? ;)

The ultimate bush flying plane though has to be the Pilatus Porter (as seen in the film 'Air America') and I believe Flight 1 (could be wrong about the maker) do a really good version.

However, i'd save your money. There are TONS of really good freeware stuff for this use, the Maule M-7-260 package by Mikko Maliniemi and others is superb with tail dragger, tundra wheels, ski and float versions.

Or, how about the DHC3 Super Otter by Eugene Heyart. Comes with wheels or floats. He's also done a 1000hp radial engined version.

For twin engines, the good old Howard 500 by Milton Shupe is great as well.

All available here at the V.
