RAS Spitfire

General discussion about payware add-ons

RAS Spitfire

Postby cspyro21 » Fri Dec 30, 2005 6:23 am

Yup, it's something most of you here have - except me.  :-[
With some money which I just got, I was thinking of buying the RAS Spitfire but I wanted to know - is it good for framerates? It's just that my system isn't exactly the best out there.  :)
Is there anything else I should know about the RAS Spit/buying a payware product?

I just bought it, on the advice of the forum here...

It's no worse of a hit than any other payware I've ever used, less than a lot. Compared to, say, the Aerosoft Katana, or the Cirrus SR-20, it's nothing. FPS hit is about on par with a decent freeware.

It's a great plane ;)

Its indeed an excellent plane.
You will fly it allright on any system, I flew it good on my last a lot of the time and that was more of a workstation than anything else.  :)

One of the best performing (fps wise) aircraft on my system. Worth the money. Go get it... :)

If you haven't got this you're not flying. This is the best model for FS ever!!! The RA SF-260 is also awesome 8)

Ozzy finds every topic with the word "Spitfire" in it. Seriously, one day I'll start a thread called spitfire in the FS98 forum and still he will find it.  ;D

If you haven't got here yet, see my pics in the Payware SS section. She runs fine on my 'pathetic' system, a real joy and the racer varient is great for aerobatics!
