Hi all!
I've just purchased the PMDG 737 and went for a ride today... well, the package is superb, but as I was approaching seattle (the default scenery) flying over the city (downtown) and sometimes over just autogen areas, I

That is one heck of a good system! What are your AI traffic settings? If you reduce those a little you normally get a few FPS back ;)
There are other little things that can get speed up a little, clear out the HD as much as possible and then defrag the HD as that helps a lot!!!

Hi Ozzy! thanks for answering!
actually my AI settings are at 100%. So I figure that major US cities are pretty HEAVY in general, aren't they???

Many thanks,
Lucas.

Defragging frees up lots of RAM. It also helps to keep clouds down as they are the biggest frame killer of FS9.

If you only have default AI turn it down to 85 or 90% if you have added AI from the web or your own, turn it down to 70 or 75%, that can improve your FPS by upto 10 per second.
