Hey guys..
I just got FS Panel Studio today, and having a little problem. I installed it but when I go to open it I get the following error messages....

Can't access file C:\Documents and Settings\MY NAME\My Documents\Panel.cfg

Then I click ok and it goes to this message....

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error
Program: C:\Program Files\FS Panel Studio\fsps.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Just wondered if someone might have some insight on how to fix the problem.... :(

Thanx in advance..

As this is Payware my first suggestion would be to do just that. I've never used FS Panel Studio but I'm very familiar with its older brother CfgEdit. I'm under the disadvantage of not having FS9 installed right now but I assume that it's looking for the default Panel.cfg located in this directory. C:\Documents and Settings\MY NAME\My Documents\Panel.cfg

I have no idea if it will work but I would check to see if there's a Panel.cfg file in the above location. If it's missing create one yourself by pasting a Panel.cfg in there. I've often fooled utilities like this & it usually fixed the problem. Once the program is up & running you can probably change the settings so it won't need to use that directory again.

I did contact their support, and apparently the root directory was set wrong, but works now..

Indeed interesting & another very good reason for not deleting default files. I never understood why people insist on deleting default aircraft or what benefit they think they get by doing so.

Yeah I hadnt deleted any of the default files, so I dont know what kinda brain fart it had, but anyway I have it working now, sure beats editing the panels manually  ;D
