hi all, i recently downloaded the new pmdg 737, the aircraft and all the adons are really grate. the only problem is that i have no idea how to use the fmc, to program a fight! please can someone help me, i tried the tutorial on their site, but its too complicated, thanks,

Youll' need to get the PMDG export module in the downloads sections....
I used it up then purchased it......It automatically exports in FMC format( with the export module) , It saves in it's own way .fsn. But you can export for FS 2004 and FMC format.
Each export needs to go into it's respective folder, IE: FS 2004 goes were all those plans are at and the FMC exports go into the PMDG flight plans folder.
Oh and by the way....you can use the FMC exports for the PMDG 747!

It's simple as pi, really.

Do a search on Avsim ("PMDG 737 tutorial" should work nicely) - there's a nice little tutorial there that'll walk you through a flight - you'll soon be able to program it with your eyes closed.

As a friendly reminder: What the FMC want to know is this (chronologic order, corresponding FMC buttons in bracketts)

- Current position (MENU/FMC/POS REF)
- Route, origin and destination airport (RTE)
-Take off runway and the SID (DEP ARR)
- Routing; waypoints enroute (RTE or LEGS)
- TOGW, ZFW, Fuel, fuel reserves, cruise altitude etc (MENU/FMC/PERF INIT)
- Thrust derate (N1 limit)
- Takeoff performance; Flaps, v-speeds, cg and trim (MENU/FMC/TAKE OFF)

Now this is done step by step so when you have executed one step, you'll automaticly be presented with an option to jump directly to the next step by clicking LSK 6R (Line select key 6 right), but I posted their complete path if you get lost on the way

The aircraft is complicated, and unless you are prepared to sit down and read the manuals or get tuition from a seven-three Captain then you will be flying this plane "the default way"...  ;)
