Ive just got volumes 1-3 of Just flight's VFR photographic scenery for England and wales but the loading time in between where you start and en route is really slow i was wandering if there are any ways to reduce this time. (My PC is almost brand new so that shouldnt be a problem)

Cheers

Cut the viz to around 30-40 miles and see if that helps...

I have VFR Scenery and it works fine on my PC, to increase the quality you need to have antialiasing on and set mip mapping to a high level.  What spec PC do you have?  Also in order to enjoy it it really is a good idea to go in a cessna or other GA, for me i usually use the Mooney Bravo.  Really to speed it up you need a good graphics card and over 512 MB RAM

Cheers

I have a radeon 9800 graphics card and 1Gb of RAM
When I tried using Anti aliasing it just looked really fuzzy but hey lets try again!

LOL now were back to the loading problem again. It looks rly good it just takes a few years to load. it kind of puts you off flying over the UK.

Smashie,

I am impressed with the combination of FSGenesis mesh with FScene textures .... I use it in Japan... and it finally looks vaguely LIKE Japan.

best,
