The gauges are beautiful. No shuttering, and perfect response in the VC. Only problem is that when your outsinde the aircraft, and it is cold and dark, you are able to see illuminated gauges, but I guess that that is a texture issue, not a VC one. But oh the VC, it is so perfect, and loverly. A must buy.

Cheers

I guess I'm lucky because Bill Laeming is a frequent poster to the FFDS design forums and we've been watching the development of the Cirrus VC/Panel for some time.  As usual, the attention to detail reflects the Eaglesoft division of labor, so to speak.  Each member participates and contributes their best efforts and they bring those efforts and manage a fine mesh of the different skills.  A good gauge or panel can be good, but when tied to a finely modelled and textured cockpit , then it becomes a matter of "that gauge was MADE for THAT panel", rather than a gauge slapped on to the panel.

I've been waiting for this release ever since Bill Laeming showed us the planel at FFDS.  :o

Even better from the FS fan's point of view... Bill has no qualms about helping the less skilled learn how to get it done right. I can vouch for this because Bill has helped me to understand how to make a stutter-free VC. Not only does he produce some magnificent guages, he helps to produce better designers.

That type of attitude should be rewarded...and I'm going to purchase a Cirrus as my small part of providing that reward. :)
