Im planning on getting the Europe road and rivers addon, but i also interested in FSGLOBAL.
Now does anyone have this 12GB addon for FS?
I would like to know what its like and if like the VFR scenery is it just a photo placed over, and is only visible from a certain Altitude, or does it actually remake the textures?
Many thanks and i would love to hear on want you think of the FS Global Addon.
So with the FS GLOBAL and Rivers and Roads do you think im ready and set for ultimate realism.

Thanks everythin, indeed in Advanced. ;)

I have FSGlobal ........ its fantastic... It's a mesh rather than textures, so no framerate hit, all it does is make the mountains more mountainous etc..... It saves all the downloading of the world mesh.

Cheers Eno.

I have been running it since it came out.

It is a 78 meter mesh. This means it will give some real nice elevation detail to the entire world.
If you purchase other mesh for certain areas that is more detailed, say like REAL SCENE's 38 meter mesh of the United States, this will over ride the global mesh in that area.

So in short, get the global as it will really enhance the detailing elevation for the entire globe, and if you want more detailed mesh than the 78 meter that global is, just get it and it will only detail that area.
